It wasn't supposed to happen to me.  I am 

an example of what this horrible drug can do to a healthy and vibrant person.  I was your son, your brother, your nephew, your cousin, your uncle and your friend.  I had a bright and productive future. I took this drug to make life 'easier' -- I didn't realize how addictive this drug really is.  I became a crystal meth addict.  I documented my journey through 2,432 digital images and videos in an effort to share with others this drug's effects.  With my permission, this foundation continues an equal challenge towards education and prevention of Crystal Meth addiction. This drug and its addiction took my life.

Methamphetamine's Pleasure Effects 
Users will have sustained energy and a heightened sense of well being; increased alertness and wakefulness, social confidence and pleasure enhancement.  Meth masks the body's need for food, water and rest.  The effects can (conservatively) last from 6-24 hours depending upon the user's level of tolerance and dosage.

Dermatologal Complications of Meth
Skin lesions are common among methamphetamine users.  Obsessive, excessive picking and scratching often accompanies methamphetamine use.  Lesions often become infected requiring treatment.  Methamphetamine use has been associated with methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (i.e., Staph) as well as (MRSA) infection.
